PTSA Meeting Information

Meetings

PTSA meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every meonth throughout the school year (except the September meeting, which is scheduled for a Wednesday). Meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. in the JRHS Library. Featured speakers usually appear first on the agenda at 7:00, and the regular PTSA meeting begins after the special presentations. Meetings are informal but structured, and generally last approximately 90 minutes. PTSA meetings are always open meetings and any PTSA member is welcome to attend and observe. Please join us!

Budget

The PTSA Annual budget is developed based on the programs and projects planned for the school year. The proposed budget is presented and voted on by the PTSA Executive Board. The proposed budget is distributed at the PTSA General Membership Meeting in September, and is voted on by the general membership during the meeting. The PTSA books are also audited on an annual basis.
