Virginia Math League Contest
The VML contest is a chanllenging six-question, thirty-minute contest given six times throughout the school year. The goal of the contest is to encourage student interest and confidence in mathematics through solving worth while problems. Students compete for the highest scores and James River competes for the highest team scores (the sum of the top five scores in the school). The VML contest dates are the following Tuesdays: October 25, Novmeber 29, January 10, February 14, March 14, and April 4. The contest will be administered by all math teachers from 2:00-2:30 P.M.
