Course descriptions

Theatre I, II, III, IV

All theatre classes highlight character development, improvisation, memorization, performance of scenes and monologues, and application of stage make-up. Theatre II students will develop their writing and performing skills and Theatre III & IV students develop their directing and production skills.

Theatre Production

These courses consist of developing and practicing skills in set design, construction and painting. You will be directly involved with all the productions by the Drama Club. Advanced students will be trained in lighting and sound production. This is a participation and academic class. Be prepared to work from sweeping the stage to running the entire production.

Theatre Partisans

Parents can get involved in the Theatre Partisans. You will be asked to assist in all productions from ushering and concessions to weekend set construction. You can work side by side with some very dedicated and skilled students. Those of you making monetary contributions will get special recognition and benefits at the major productions. Partisans are the first to be asked when chaperones are needed. Would you like to go to Broadway?
