Learning Disabled
The Learning Disabilities program is designed to help those individuals with average to above average intelligence who have a weakness in a processing area which affects that student's learning. Various stategies and programs are offered to assist the student in meeting academic success.
It has been said that the term "learning disability" should
be "learning differently". The mental function that causes dyslexia
is a natural ability; it is something that is special and enhances the
individual, like so many geniuses such as Albert Einstein and Walt Disney.
